November, 2018 - Each year, on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, we gather in memorial parks, community halls, workplaces, schools and homes to recognize Remembrance Day and to observe a moment of silence and reflect on and remember the brave and courageous men and women who have served, and continue to serve our country during times of war, conflict and peace.
Ceremonies honouring Canada's war vets will be taking place in communities across British Columbia on Remembrance Day, Sunday, November 11th. Many communities participate in the ceremonies organized by the Royal Canadian Legion. To find out about a ceremony sponsored by the RCL in your community, please contact them by visiting their website at http://www.legion.ca/contact-us/find-a-branch
