November, 2015 - Local 258 IBEW and the IBEW First District (Canada) encourages members to consider supporting the United Way's fall fundraising campaign, currently underway in workplaces across British Columbia.
Local 258 IBEW is strongly supporting this year's campaign with the appointment of Brother Rob Munro, Unit 6 Vice-President, as our labour loaned rep with the United Way of the Lower Mainland. Rob works at BC Hydro in Surrey.
Local 258 IBEW Assistant Business Manager Dan Klassen sits on the 2015 Campaign Cabinet Labour Committee of the UWLM.
The United Way/Labour partnership goes back to 1988, when the Canadian Labour Congress and the United Way joined together to help build strong and resilient communities.
