Local 258 IBEW President Brother Tony Brand on the mend

**UPDATE September 12, 2014 - Local 258 IBEW has been notified that Brother Brand is out of hospital and has returned home to complete his recovery.**
September 9, 2014 - Local 258 IBEW Business Manager Brother Doug McKay was notified yesterday that Brother Tony Brand, who is serving as the union’s recently elected President and is a long time member of the Local 258 Executive, is currently recovering in hospital from serious injuries suffered after an accident at his home in North Vancouver on the weekend. He is expected to make a full recovery.
Brother McKay has been in touch with Brother Brand’s wife and family and has been advised at the current time visitors are being restricted to family only.
